2018 Annual Economic Update and Client Appreciation


A huge thank you to all of the clients that were able to attend our Annual Economic Update and Client Appreciation event this year. It is always a pleasure to spend time with you all. Our office would also like to thank the wonderful staff at Hotel Andaluz as well as Entourage Jazz for making our event so incredible. We would not be able to what we love without all of you.


   

 

 

Day of the Tread


Our office is excited to announce that we are proud sponsors of this year's Day of the Tread, a biking event that supports local non-profit organizations. This year the proceeds from the event went to Pegasus Legal Services for Children, a private non-profit agency providing civil legal services to children, youth, and their caregivers, including direct representation, community legal education, and policy advocacy.


Women's Advisor Summit 2018


Our office prides itself on continued growth and education. We are very excited that our employees are willing to take on additional training to do so. Our office Manager, Leticia Mendoza, recently attended the Women's Advisor Summit in Denver CO. The mission of the Women Adviser Summits is to empower female financial advisers to invest in their business, their brands and themselves. Leticia attended the summit shortly after passing her Uniform Securities Agent Series 63 exam, and is showing a great effort to be more involved as the our new Retirement Services Representative.






Women's Financial Independence and Empowerment Seminar


A huge thank you to everyone that was able to attend our Women's Financial Independence and Empowerment Seminar this past Saturday! We were very happy to have had the opportunity to partner with Gravitate for this event as well as Barrett Foundation, Inc. and are extremely pleased to announce that we able to raise over $500 in donations. Not to mention all of our dynamic speakers; Gail Feldman, Kari Brandenburg, Joanie Griffin and Antonia Roybal-Mack.


Saturday Morning Golf


One of our favorite events to do with our clients is golf lessons at Sandia Golf Club. This has been our second year in a row playing at Sandia, but with great instructors and a beautiful course, we're thinking of making it an annual tradition.




Chatter Cabaret


Our office would like to thank  all of our clients who were able to attend Chatter Cabaret with us. We were very excited for the opportunity to sponsor the event and we always enjoy spending time with our clients outside of the office. Chatter events are hosted every Sunday by Ensemble Music New Mexico in non-traditional venues, making for a unique experience our clients love. Office Achievements- Leticia Mendoza


It is with excitement we announce that our Office Manager, Leticia Mendoza has passed her FINRA Series 6 licensing exam. Our office is proud of Leticia’s achievement and look forward to her continued growth, education and commitment. This important examination is not an easy one to pass. Leticia studied diligently to gain extensive knowledge in such areas as mutual funds, annuities, and the regulatory requirements of the securities industries. Congratulations Leticia!




WESST Annual Donor Appreciation


As a board member of WESST, Mark attended the Annual Donor Appreciation celebration held at the WESST Enterprise Center in Albuquerque. Pamela Otero, WESST client and owner of O2 Fitness Studio, was the guest speaker and shared the many ways WESST has helped her, particularly with understanding the financial side of her business. David Hockmuth, Jennifer Riordan and Pat Nie of Wells Fargo were special guests and presented WESST with a check dedicated towards continued support of the Tech ToolKit Program. From everyone at WESST, we say thank you to our many friends and supporters. Happy Holidays!

Our team is grateful for our clients, and a special thanks to Paws and Stripes for giving us the opportunity to learn more about their organization. Professional Advisor Learning Forum


Recently Mark attended the Professional Advisor Learning Forum hosted at the Albuquerque Community Foundation (ACF). ACF was founded in 1981 and promotes fields of interest such as environmental preservation and human services, among others. Our office relishes having the opportunity to work with organizations such as ACF and we look forward to future involvement.



Supportive Housing Coalition of New Mexico's 5th Annual Strike Out Homelessness Bowl-A-Thon & Raffle!


Our office was very excited to participate in the Supportive Housing Coalition of New Mexico's 5th Annual Strike Out Homelessness Bowl-A-Thon & Raffle. The sold out event hit a new record this year raising over $30,000 to aid in the fight against homelessness within our community. Our staff and their families had a great time bowling along side other locally owned companies and we look forward to participating again next year. Sequins, Suits, and Sneakers Gala


Mark along side University of New Mexico President Chaouki Abdallah and his wife Catherine at this year’s Sequins, Suits, and Sneakers gala. Through the partnership between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), the gala helped to raise money for the American Cancer Society mission and support free programs and services for cancer patients in New Mexico.



WESST Visionaries Founders Circle


As a board member of Women’s Economic Self-Sufficiency Team (WESST) Mark recently attended the recognition event for the visionary donors. Donors made a multi-year financial commitment to help support WESST efforts. WESST Visionaries are a passionate group of individuals and small businesses dedicated to supporting local economic development through entrepreneurship. Mark along with Agnes Noonan, and Dianne Cambell are seen here showing their support.




                                               

2017 UNM Business Plan Competition


Mark J. Napolin & Associates would like to extend a sincere congratulations to all the teams awarded at the 2017 University of New Mexico’s annual Business Plan Competition. The Business Plan Competition is a seven-month program that awards the student teams with the best plan and helps to launch their businesses. Mark’s participation as a judge allowed him the honor of personally meeting and congratulating this year’s first place winners in the entrepreneurial challenge, Daniel Guerrero and Luis Ceja of Muchos Tamales, as well as third place winners of the technology prize Mariel Varges Haddad and Sofia Verduzco of Timer Glove.
